Poppy seeds, football and more


The Hutterites invited me to go to the garden as they collected poppy seeds for their baking. They cut the poppy heads off the plants and let them dry in the sun and then they cut them open and pour out the seeds. They gathered enough seeds to fill a barrel and will last the colony five years.


Denise looks at some resumes for her restaurant. She is moving to a location three times the size of her old one and will need to expand her staff.


This was the first season volleyball game between Mathew Halton High School and St. Michaels School in Pincher Creek for their Junior Varsity teams. St. Michaels won all three sets.


This was the first day for the woman's bowling league.


Saturday was the first season game for Pincher Creek Mustangs against the Lethbridge Bulldogs.
