First Place Winner

This photo earned me first place at the 2006 Atco Photographic Awards for the Human Interest catagory. They were open to all of the weekly papers in Alberta and the Northwest Territories.

Breaking Wind

The winds in Pincher Creek reached 160 km/h. This empty cattle liner was blown right off the road and I was almost blown over taking the photo. Many trailers were flipped, a plane had an emergency landing and ashes in a metal garbage can were blown to a wood pile that caused a house fire.
